Border Policies
Greeter and leader ranks (Spaher, Wahren, Gamma, Beta, Alpha) get first dibs on joining threads. However, if one of them doesn't reply to the initial joining post within 24 hours, another packmember is encouraged to step in. I shouldn't have to say this, but just in case - border threads are a priority; if you step up and take responsibility for them you should be able to reply to them promptly.
Rank Changes/Activity Checks
Barring extreme circumstances, ranks will be updated monthly. There will probably be an activity check before each major rank shuffle. Activity is the main criteria for promotions and demotions, although if your activity shown on the check is atypical compared to the rest of the month I'll take that into consideration. Other things that might be considered are In Character circumstances, contributions to the pack or game, seniority, or your past trends in activity; but unless one of these things is very pressing/extreme, or you're on the borderline, it won't affect your rank.
OOC and IC Games, Contests, and Gatherings
If you have an idea for an OOC Game and/or Contest then I would love to hear about it! You can let us know by posting your ideas in the Pack Bulletin thread or simply sending them to us, Phoenix or Phasma, through the PM system, AIM, or e-mail. If you have an idea for an IC Gathering or some type of game that the wolves of Storm might like to play then, please, feel free to go ahead and post it or work on seeing who is interested. These games and gatherings cannot be made mandatory, though, so keep that in mind when starting such threads. If you start a gathering or a game then PM us the link or post in the Pack Bulletin thread with the link and we'd be happy to pin the thread for you!
Obtaining a Co-Rank
Your character needs to prove they can perform the duties of a co-rank before they receive it. So, a minimum of 3 co-rank related threads must be completed or well underway (posts pertaining to the co-rank are up) before you can be considered for a co-rank. Either post a list of all co-rank related threads directly in the bulletin, or post a link to your post log with co-rank threads marked.
Requesting a Second Character
I won't grant or deny permission for second characters more than 10 days before you're set to play them. This especially applies to people who are taking on puppy characters because people usually decide to play them much longer than 10 days in advance. Yes, you can volunteer; this policy doesn't affect that. But I won't give permission at that point, a month or so in advance, because I can't be certain your activity at that point will continue until you take on the character, although I know you have good intentions. Good current activity = second character.
